Create an account
Signing up, confirming your email, signing in and resetting your password
Accounts use an email address and a password. There is no sign-in with Google or Apple and no magic link.
Sign up
Create your account
Go to app.owlypost.com and choose Create an account. Enter your email and a password of at least 8 characters, then press Create account.
Check your inbox
You always land on Check your inbox next, whether or not the address already had an account. Open the mail titled Confirm your email — Owly Post and click the link. It is valid for one hour.
Start the training
The link signs you in and drops you at Let's train your owl. From here, Owl training takes about two minutes.
No mail?
Check spam first. On the same device, Send it again is available for 30 minutes after signing up, with a one-minute pause between sends. Signing in before confirming shows Your email address isn't confirmed yet with a link to request a fresh one.
Sign in
Choose Sign in, enter your email and password. If they do not match you get That email and password don't match. Try again, or reset your password. The same message appears for an address that has no account, on purpose.
Reset your password
- On the sign-in page choose Forgot your password?
- Enter your email and press Send reset link. The page says If that address has an account, a reset link is on its way. It's good for one hour.
- Open the link, choose a new password of at least 8 characters, and press Save password.
A reset link cannot be re-sent from that page; request a new one instead.

Sign-in attempts and mails are rate-limited; after a burst of attempts, wait a few minutes.
